Alexandra Probst
Alexandra (Alli) Probst is a PhD candidate in the labs of Dr. Flaminia Catteruccia and Dr. Dyann Wirth at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her research focuses on Plasmodium falciparum development in its Anopheles vector, and in particular on the use of antimalarial compounds that target parasites during this vulnerable portion of its life cycle to prevent malaria transmission. Outside of the lab, Alli enjoys getting outdoors for some hiking, climbing, or skiing and doing her best to keep her houseplants alive.
