Dr Dorothy Achu

 

Dr Dorothy Fosah Achu is the Team Leader for Tropical and Vector borne Diseases at the WHO Regional office for Africa, overseeing malaria, neglected tropical diseases and other vector borne disease programs since November 2022. She is also the current Co-Chair of the RBM Country and Regional Support Partner Committee (CRSPC) since December 2024. She is a Medical Doctor, Epidemiologist and a former National Malaria Control Program Manager in Cameroon. Her career path has offered her the opportunity to lead the policy adoption, planning, implementation and evaluation of several malaria elimination initiatives and interventions at national, regional and global levels.
