 Women in Malaria 2nd conference

19-20 March, 2025

“Innovate to end malaria”

The Women in Malaria Conference is a virtual conference that highlights the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary scientists in the field of malaria. The conference aims to showcase the most exciting work from researchers at all stages of their scientific careers and from all geographic regions. In addition to the diverse program of speakers, we are actively working to see if we can also include a mentoring workshop and assembly… check back in the new year for more details on these, if interested.

The 2nd Women in Malaria conference will be held March 19-20, 2025!

The program is still being finalised but is expected to run from ~10 AM to 5 PM GMT.

Conference registration is now open!

Whilst presentations will only be given by women and non-binary researchers, attendance is open to everyone!

Early bird registration is 50 USD (closes February 14, 11.59 PM UTC, 2025)

Late registration is 60 USD (closes March 7, 11.59 PM UTC, 2025)

There is some support for the free attendance for those from LMICs (see below on how to apply). Please also consider supporting the attendance of those from LMICs – there is an opportunity to buy fee waivers during the registration process.

Conference registration will include live access to the plenary talks, scientific sessions, symposium and the poster session, as well as access to conference recordings after the event.
